The Mission of PPWHF:

The Pikes Peak Women's Hockey Foundation (PPWHF) supports the development and training of female hockey players in the Pikes Peak Region through competitive activities and outreach programming for women of all ages.

WOMEN’S WINTER LEAGUE

When: Opening Game Discounted - WEDNESDAY, October 28 only $10 (REGISTER NOW!)

Session 1: (3 Games) Wednesday, November 11

and TUESDAY, December 1 & December 15

Time: 9:00 to 10:00pm

Where: Sertich Ice Arena

Who: Any and all interested women (all levels) hockey players

Cost: Fulltime Players (commit to every game):Session 1 - $36 for 3 games

Non-Fulltime Players (pay by week-if we have not exceeded 30 women who sign up): $15 per game

ALL PLAYERS MUST PROVE USA HOCKEY REGISTRATION! USA Hockey Membership Link (Please email a copy of your USA Hockey Registration to league@silverwolves.com in advance or bring copy to game to play)

Sign up will occur by online registration to be a full time player and reserve a spot! First come, first guaranteed spot to play! www.silverwolves.com

2nd Session to follow at the start of the year with dates of: Tuesdays-January 12 & 26, February 9 AND Wednesdays-February 24, March 10 & 24 running from 9-10pm.

Session 2: 6 games for $72.

Teams:

The players on each team will have a wide range of ability.  You will be placed on a team by lottery; however, you can select two teammates (and league organizers will do their best to place requested teammates on the same team).  For purposes of the lottery, please complete the registration form with an honest assessment of your ability. .

USA Hockey rules will apply.

Code of Conduct:

This is a “For Fun League” and gives the women in our hockey community a chance to play in a woman only league.  It’s a league where you can play on a team with friends and meet new friends!!

All Players Are Strongly Encouraged To:

* Be courteous to opposing teams and the league officials

* Play hard and to the limit of her ability

* Retain her composure and never engage in unsportsmanlike physical or verbal behavior

* Be modest when successful and gracious in defeat

* Play for the love of the game and remember, it is just a game

* Respect the integrity and judgment of league officials and accept their decisions

* Respect other players, the facilities, the officials, but most importantly, respect yourself

* Applaud superior play by both teams

League Supervisor will deal with any violation of the Code of Conduct and players will be suspended or removed from the league without refund.
